Visual Art – Atlanta

I've been apart of the Atlanta entertainment industry for almost a decade now. Beginning to express myself creatively by promoting for the Rising Sun Group and Prophecy Events, under the name 'LinaLarge' around 2007. In 2010, I became manager of The Pink Ladies Promotions Team and a member of the Pink Ladies Society. Simultaneously, I pursued a dual degree in History and African American Studies at the University of Georgia. Over time I worked on the administrative side of the Atlanta night life for venues like Obsessions Night Club and Room Service Lounge. In 2013, I transitioned into more progressive, artistic ventures, becoming a team member of and blogger for Live Indie Talent and POPATL. Since, I've expanded my creative abilities, participating in the growth and creative development of different companies from retail to communications, event promotions, and even engineering. I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta, Inc., a brand ambassador for LiveLifeLite and King Lario, and a tattoo apprentice at Tri-Cities Tattoo Company. I've collaborated on projects with notable photographers, creating images that both present beauty and provoke inquiry. My paintings have been displayed in many exhibitions since 2013. Recently I've founded and instruct a monthly art class that encourages self exploration fused with delicious cupcakes. At Cupcakes & Canvases participants learn basic information about contemporary/ classical art, artists, and the how's and why's to artistic creative release. I mentor a group of high school students in the art magnet program in East Point, Georgia. And I've also been featured as a subject/muse in a coffee table book and videos by some of Atlanta's favorite musicians.
