I was born and raised in Venice, California, which exposed me to a lot of different cultures and atmospheres. I spent a lot of time at the Venice Beach Boardwalk - the most popular attraction on the Westside - which is full of hippies that have resided there since the 60's, weird street performers, and local characters like Harry Perry, the turban-wearing rollerblading guitarist. I've always been grateful to grow up in such a creative, artistic environment.
