Photography – Houston
Hawaiian born and raised in Honolulu until moving to Houston, Texas when I was 12 years old. Before getting into photography I was actually a" BBoy" also known as a break-dancer. My dancing began in high school which lead me to joining "Rock All Day" or also know as RAD Crew. With "RAD" I was able to travel all over the world competing and battling in many different competitions all over the United States. In 2015, i was apart of the world-famous Houston Rockets Launch Crew. i had the pleasure traveling with the Houston Rockets organization to different states performing for half-time. My passion for dance turned into photography when I wanted to take photos of my crew members and friends doing difficult break dance moves known as a "freeze". Once taking, uploading, and editing the photos at home, I was amazed with what I could do with my knowledge, experience, vision, and camera. My hobby became my passion and I wanted to take it to the next level by creating and owning my own photography company. This is when Misun Photography was born. Most of my current business revenue comes from corporate bookings, events, and local artists. I have had the honor of working with companies like Target, Bud light, Monster Energy, Pro-Breaking Tour, Comet, "Silent Disco" at the Houston Health Museum, and many other local small businesses. By creating a business involved with my passion, I get to enjoy my work each and everyday. There is no better feeling than being your own boss!
