Heather Duggins

I am Heather Duggins and my passion for life is art! I was born an artist. It has always been a part of my life. I am so thankful to have a passion and talent, and feel that I have a purpose here in the world. I love drawing, oil painting, sculpting, and my favorite is mixed media-clashing all types of mediums together. My passion for art led me to my dream of wanting to be a professional makeup artist, starting in 7th grade, after BEGGING my mother to let me wear makeup. I used to practice up to 5 different looks on myself each night, while taking notes. I practiced on my friends for school dances in high school. I attended college for a year and a half before deciding I wanted something bigger. I packed all my belongings and headed to Los Angeles at the age of 19. In 2007 I attended Cinema Makeup School and studied special fx, character, runway, and film makeup. I have been taught by the best. All of my teachers have credits in major motion pictures or fashion magazines, and some have even won Oscars for makeup. After graduating, I worked on independent films, music videos, fashion shows in Hollywood, and countless photo shoots. I LOVE being a makeup artist!
