Photography – New York - NYC

Elanna Conn was born and raised in a small town of North Beach, located in Maryland. Her work is in-between now and memory. It is a haze of nostalgia; allowing memories of the past to wash over the present and into the future. But, not allowing it to rush over the little things that surround us day to day. Her photos capture the intimacy between those close to the heart, and how relationships of the past, present, and future keep a hold on us. In 2013 she decided to make the move, like many young adults, to New York City. This led to attending a one-year-conservatory program at NYFA for photography. Graduating in 2014, she had to move back home for a short while only to find her way back to New York. Since 2016 she has had a day job as a dog walker for the pups of the bustling streets of New York City. Along with her dog treats, waste bags, leash, and pup, she continues to carry her camera along with her.
