Brian Houghton

My name is Brian and i am a mixed media artist. I started creating art in may of 2011 after a 10 yr hiatus. Almost all the stuff I\'ve done is the first I\'ve EVER done. I started making jewelry in October of 2011. I\'ve had no formal training in either art nor jewelry, a lot of things that i create are made by trial and error, and sometimes i just get \\\\\\\"lucky\\\\\\\" and turns out fine the first time. I have always had sort of an interest in art, it was mainly just doodling and nothing too serious. I am a recovering alcoholic and have been sober for 1.5 yrs, all my artwork and jewelry is a great outlet for something that ran and ruined my life. The sky is the limit and as long as i don\'t run out of ideas i don\'t see myself stopping my creative \\\\\\\'flow\\\\\\\' anytime soon.
