Beauty – Phoenix

After high school, my only plan in life was to attend Arizona State University and receive a degree in Business Communication.. All at the same time, I had a hidden passion for makeup application. I was that girl who would wake up early in the morning to make sure I had time to apply my false lashes, and do a full face of foundation. On my free time, I would watch YouTube videos of my favorite beauty gurus such as: Manny MUA, Laura Lee, Jeffree Star, Blaire Fowler, and Dulce Candy. It was how I could truly relax, and enjoy time away from my stressful life in school. Watching these videos on the daily made me dream of someday pursuing my dream in becoming a makeup artist/beauty YouTuber. Almost two years into college, I realized I wasn't where I was supposed to be. In those two years, I managed to start practicing makeup application on friends and family. I then began to build my social media, and post many makeup looks to display my skills to others. I also had makeup brands contacting me to feature their products on my page. I started doing freelance makeup application, and built a huge client base in such a short period of time. I became fully aware that I wanted to pursue makeup artistry, and do it for the rest of my life. I left business school, with the plan to further my career, and someday attend cosmetology school.
