Elizabeth Blair Stephenson was born at 27.7522 degrees N, 98.0697 degrees W, from a womb aching with the fever of eternal femininity. With the full moon in Aries, she rejoined the union. As buffalo clover grew in fields along roadsides, she became a loner. She shifted through space like a wave of blood in veins. She studied philosophy.. n watched water rise and fall in her bathtub. Aphasiatic in her dream states, Elizabeth chased after words. Her work is an existential essay concerning the breadth of one’s voice.
