Emily Gigoux Art

I am a native Oregonian who has been creating since as long as I can remember. Graduated with a BA in Studio Arts, specializing in painting and photography. I've always loved both and have been trying to find a way to combine the two art forms. A year ago I discovered drawing on photographs of mountains, ideally hoping to learn the contour lines of the mountain on a more intimate level so I could paint them better. I always thought the line drawings looked cool--then I got hooked on metallic pens. When I drew over the mountains with the metallic pens, I was super excited with how it looked. So I kept creating. And here we are now!
