Hi, I’m Erikka
After having studied at Aveda Fredericks Institute Cincinnati, I moved to Austin when I was 19 seeking artistic growth. There I worked at an Aveda salon for 7 years as a Master Cut Specialist and makeup artist, while also servicing special events, including bridal services. My experience at Aveda was primarily focused on women's aesthetics. Inspired to broaden my experience, I chose to move on to Birds Barbershop, an Austin favorite. Here I've gotten exposure to exceptional barber work, servicing a variety of clientele.
As my career and artistic expression evolved, I discovered photoshoots to be exceptional way for people to see themselves in new ways. Over time I have come to understand I that I can choose to see more beauty than I do pain in my existence. Cultivating this belief has become a cornerstone in my life, and it is this transformational gift I offer people through these photoshoots. I want you to see you as I see you. I want you to let go of your self-judgements and illuminate your Beautiful Truth.
