Visual Art – Columbus
I am an Illustrator with a story to tell. My art is strongly influenced by my Haitian background, which involved many folktale stories told to me in my younger years. The mythological, nature-based creatures I illustrate are taken from myths that my family believed existed to be true. Although I was trained as an artist in the United States, Haitian themes are still prevalent in my art today. My dream is to share all these stories with everyone through my art.
