Accessories – Orange County
The artist is a native of Venezuela and has spent a significant portion of her life travelling - throughout South America, across the United States, Mexico and throughout Europe. As such her creations reflect both the vibrant colors and bold patterns of her homeland and the sophisticated influences of the many cultures she has had the opportunity to experience.
During one of her stays in the Netherlands Fatima first saw the beauty that could be created through the felting process by an experienced felter and was inspired to learn and practice the craft herself.
From the basics she learned there she applied her own discriminating eye for quality materials and colors to the felting process and today she creates everyone of the scarves by hand with a specific vision of what can be achieved in mind.
Since moving to Huntington Beach she has adapted her creations to fit a broader range of cultures and climate to reflect her current home. She now produces both traditional scarves and lighter infinity scarves and tops to allow her clients to wear her art anytime they want to stand out from the crowd.
