Feva Ladies are going on 9 months of dancing together under the Direction of Tanya Foley. Tanya is from the San Francisco Bay Area, and is a competitive Latin dancer and top ranked cheerleading nationalist. Her Latin dance training comes from six years with Salsamania Dance Company and this past year with Fever Dance Academy, she started with the team in its first season. She competed three times at the World Latin Dance Cup and has performed at numerous Latin dance congresses throughout the U.S. Tanya also minored in dance at CSUEB, and received a B.S. in Kinesiology, having studied exercise nutrition and wellness as well as sport psychology and team development. Before recently joining the Fever Dance Academy staff as an instructor, she gained teaching and directing experience in college and at local socials. _______________________ Check out one of our videos: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lungiooogn908a6/Tanya-MVI_3047.MP4?dl=0____________________ Meet some of our dancers: _______________________ Brynn Ogilvie is a second year dance MFA student at Mills College who hails from Olympia, Washington and has been dancing for fifteen years in a variety of forms including drill/dance team, modern, jazz, hip hop styles and much more. Recently, she has choreographed for and performed in several music videos and taught ballroom styles for a year at the Arthur Murray School of Dance in Seattle. _____________________ Mellissa Katarina is a classical pianist who found her love of dance in her teen years by starting with Greek Dancing, a folklorical dance. When she moved to the Bay Area from Los Angeles at the age of 18 she found her love for Latin Dancing, specifically Salsa, and has been addicted ever since. Recently she has expanded her dance interests to Afro Cuban Folklorical Dance, Ballet, Tango, and Kizomba/Zouk._________________________________________Arlene Vicencio had studied various artforms of dance including, jazz, east coast swing, Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Hula Kahiko, and Tahitian/polynesian. She has won competions since 15 yo in east coast swing, trained 7 years in Hula and 10 years in Tahitian and competed and placed 2nd in group competition in Tahiti and 1st place in solo competition in Sacramento, Ca. Simultaneously she trained with salsa teams and bachata teams since 2010 with PB&G, Montuno Dance and Fever Dance Academy and competed in salsa placing 3rd in her first team competition. She has also been active in Martial arts since her teens and continues her training in Escrima Filipino Martial arts. Arlene is currently an active member in Fever Dance Academy, and Feva Ladies team Under direction of Tanya Foley.
