Photography – Boston

I studied art at Wesleyan University as an undergraduate and later earned an MFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design. After RISD, I became interested in video and photography as well. I developed my technical skills to the point where I was able to make a career as a freelance corporate and commercial videographer and editor. At the same time, I practiced photography as a personally creative outlet, as I had stopped pursuing a career as an artist. I shot with a Nikon F3 and a Rolleiflex 120mm camera. Today, I shoot digital. I look for my subjects in the physical environment, natural and urban, usually devoid of people. My techniques now also include making photo composites in Photoshop. The composites are expressions of subjects as events in the mind. None of this work has been exposed to the world thus far. Raw Artists have given me the opportunity to change that.
