My love of color began at a young age. I have always found solace in the making of something beautiful, something individuals haven\'t experienced before, something unique. After I graduated from the U of MN Twin Cities with my BA and endless studio training, I became obsessed with the making of something from nothing. Many of my works contain recycled materials or things other people may consider trash. I focus on emitting strong emotions through my use of color, texture, and my unique views of the world around me. Turning an old worn out piece of garbage into an amazing and beautiful creation that makes a statement gives me satisfaction beyond any other. I create to survive, it is in my bones and I will never stop creating things as long as I remain in this place.
