The Fully Focused Dance Company originated in 2005 as an all female dance group. The initial intention of the statement behind being an all female group was to make clear that we don't have to ass-shake to dance and receive attention but instead... We would study the Elements Of Real Hip Hop Dance and incorporate those into our creations with street dance training -no formal training whatsoever... From '05-'15 Fully Focused has a dance resume extending from local community center shows where we give back to neighborhoods, to performances at NIKE World Basketball Festival, BET Wild Out Wednesday three times, Original Amateur Night @ Apollo Winners, performers of halftime @ the NY Liberty Game, Garden of Dreams @ Radio City Music Hall, NYC Knicks dancers performance @ the Hammerstein Ballroom, NIKE Step It Up Competition at the New Amsterdamn Theater, Times Square and most recently, Prime Time at 2 Brooklyn Nets Games at the Barclays Center and Summer Stage NYC 2015. We Have dance members who teach dance and life skills as their profession in the NYC Public Schools. This keeps us involved in community service work primarily with the youth. We aim to take talent and create real business. We want to prove that -YEA... A HIP HOP DANCE GROUP FROM BROOKLYN CAN DO ALL THAT!!!
