Craft – Vancouver
Born and raised in East Van, Gabriel Hershfield lives off of commercial drive where he does his glass work. After accidentally stumbling across stained glass, he quickly took an interest to it. He is self taught after many hours of trial and error, slowly accumulating necessary tools and creating simple mosaics to get a feel for the glass and solder. Once a feel for the craft was had, he took on the challenge of creating three dimensional objects and refining his style. Visually appealing creations with a function.
