Vanessa Lerma

Art is everything I think life is- colorful, loud, quiet, and emotional. My creative inspiration for my oil paintings and mixed media work comes from vivid memories, childhood novelties, and quality time spent with friends and family. I just moved to Austin a few weeks ago from Fort Worth, and I am looking to get into some great art groups so I can establish myself in the Austin art community. I began painting and pursuing an art career at the age of 16. I graduated from the Chicago Art Institute in 2004 with a fine arts degree and concentration in studio art. For the past three years I worked in graphic design.
