Singer/songwriter Hannah Parrington is a 15-year-old artist who has a passion for writing up beat, catchy pop songs. Hailing from the hinterlands of Byron Bay, Hannah has performed at pivotal music festivals such as Byron Bay Blues Festival and Mullumbimby music festival. 2015 saw her debut EP released at the age 13 after crafting songs since she was only 8 years old.
In 2016 she won Female songwriter of the year in the respected Lismore Young Songwriter’s competition and was chosen as a wild card for the Mullumbimby Music festival youth mentorship by Iain Shedden, music editor of “the Australian”. Iain is quoted as saying, “I was impressed by Hannah’s grasp of live looping and its role in song structure, but also liked the song and the confidence in her voice”.
