Hope Allen

Hi my name is Hope Allen, I’m from Los Angeles and moved to Santa Cruz in 1998. I grew up in a very crafty household. I was making my own clothes by junior high and shortly after was painting and drawing. My real passion is making shadow boxes!! I use all recycled materials! I dig through bins and bins of what most people would call garbage. I transform these items into works of art! Each one of my boxes has a delicate thought process and a theme to inspire beauty from things taken from our everyday life. Good for the soul and for the planet!
