Performing Art – Seattle
Cherry Manhattan is a Seattle burlesque artist, producer, instructor and emcee. A classically trained actor and director, Cherry holds a BA in Theater from the University of California is a Faculty member at Cornish College of the Arts where she teaches theater, directing and “Neo-Burlesque Theory and Performance.” Cherry has performed and created shows all over Seattle, including The Triple Door, On the Boards, Bumbershoot, Seattle Shakespeare, AtsWest and ACT. She was awarded the 4Culture 2011 Individual Artist Grant for her artistic work and named the 2008 Featured Artist in Theater by the Seattle PI. Cherry is passionate about supporting emerging artists, and high-class hedonism.
