Redefining the Female Archetype and Reclaiming the Heroine. ~
As a child, I played in cemeteries,
adventured into the forest alone,
escaped to shadowy brooks,
and threw a football much further than the boys.
As an adult, I collect dead bugs, commune with small creatures, I like to play with fire and I refuse to sit still.
If anything at all, I’ve learned that I am simply an animal, trapped inside a woman’s body, untamed, unkempt, traditionally un-traditional, vintage-ly modern and restlessly still.
