Visual Art – Canberra

I love that I can be free to create. I love that art provides the necessary oxygen for me to live in this world. I love that I can show the world how I breathe. My goals for my art are to 1. Travel the world and teach art as therapy to women. I want to provide them with an avenue to release the pressures of life and enable them to become the woman they were born to be. 2. I want the National Gallery of Australia to purchase my art and 3. I want to exhibit at the Tate in London and 4. I want to win the Archibald Prize. In order to obtain these goals I have educated myself in the arts in many different areas looking for my niche. These include,Graphic Design, Project Management, Signwriting, Ticket Writing, and Interior Decorating. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Art. I have taught painting as a volunteer to many local community organisations. I have paintings in local collections and won local art prizes and I regularly exhibit with local art groups and hold solo exhibitions. My current practice revolves around creating encaustic paintings and upcycling trash or found objects and sculpture.
