Visual Art – Canberra
I am a dancer, sculptural basket maker and fibre artist residing in the beautiful Shoalhaven Shire in south east NSW. Initially I relocated from Canberra to the Shoalhaven to take care of my elderly father and his substantial camellia collection however, I also decided to study for a double major in English and history at UOW. A major change in my life path happened when I applied for a local community grant and was able to study with a master basket maker. Last year I held my first solo exhibition and was also a finalist in the Craft NSW emerging artist award.
