Visual Art – Montréal

I’ve been an artist since my childhood. At the age of 9 to 18 years, I took easel painting lessons in South of France. I studied in Fine Art: School of Fine Arts, University of Fine Arts, painter decorator Brevet. During my studies at University, I began to create my first artworks mixing painting and fashion design. Zippers (or all kind of openings providing access to the “hidden” canvas) constitute a way to give depth to my paintings and turn them into 3D. Most of my paintings can take different appearances by opening, closing or partially opening zippers. The aim being to let the observer choose the way he wants to discover the canvas below... You can see my works on my website: www.kiarartiste.com Since 2009, I live in Montreal (Canada), and I participate in \"Dr Sketchy\", an unconventional figure drawing workshop. I like to draw beautiful girls from burlesque world!
