Self taught textile artist Isa Catepillán, designes full-lenght Crochet Wedding Dresses one stitch at a time and weaves her way from head to toe to create a unique piece that is more like wearable art than high fashion.
Her work looks back to the wisdom of women who meticulously sewed their own dresses or had heirloom garments passed down to them through the generations.
For Isa is essential to work with 100% natural fibers, avoiding synthetic fabrics and industrial process. She best describes her craft as "slow fashion".
