Visual Art – San Francisco

Creating visual works of art—paintings and drawings— have always been a part of my life. I experimented with different styles—abstraction, impressionism, realism, figure drawing— and different mediums—oil, watercolor, pencil— until I found what I enjoyed doing the most. I use watercolors and Micron pens on Bristol paper to create portrait and figure drawings. Using color and being detailed in my drawings have given me an eye for shadows and atmospheric perspective. When I see something that I want to draw, I draw it how I see it. My purpose with art is to bring life and depth to a portrait so it does not feel like a flat image. I fell in love with the organic forms of the human figure and plan to continue drawing the beauty I see.
