Visual Art – New York - NYC

When I grew up, art was always there for me in the best of times and the worst of times. It gave me a lot of fun but also focus, and ways of coping with other parts of life. I gave that up when I started to become a teenager for fear of judgement and never returned until 20yrs later. It was suggested I use it as a form of therapy and I decided to give it a shot. That was now 3yrs ago and i am very excited to be back. Suffering, years on end, from chronic pain and depression, art brought back to me a peace that i had denied myself from for years. It is not without hesitation and fear that I display my art, however, by sharing my work with the world, I am beginning on a new journey. I am grateful to have had people in my life to push me and encourage me to find my passion again. My goal now is to begin to learn more about technique and to explore different mediums and styles.
