Music – San Antonio

Blending electronic and grassroots elements, the music of Jed Craddock is its own a kind of “intelligent pop.” The blend of Jed’s eclectic approach as an artist and idiosyncratic voice creates songs that feel retro, yet modern. Often, Jed will take to a stage alone, leaning into his background in percussion and guitar along with technology to create a song that sounds much bigger than a one-man band. At other times, Jed may share the stage with fellow percussionists, musicians, or performers. Jed met writer/producer, Gina Fant-Saez in 2016 who spent a year with him at Austin’s Blue World Music, helping cultivate his songs and artistic identity. Grammy award winning producer/engineer, Kevin Killen (David Bowie, Shakira, Sugarland, Peter Gabriel, U2), traveled to Austin on multiple occasions to co-produce and mix the first collection of songs.  Bassists Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel) and Paul Bushnell (Katy Perry, Gavin DeGraw, Mylie Cyrus), guitarist Gerry “Spooky Ghost” Leonard (David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper), drummer Pat Mastelotto (Mr. Mister, King Crimson), and hornist Andy Snitzer (Sting, Paul Simon), each contributed to the recordings.
