Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn

I\'m an explorer by nature, a photographer by training and a paper cutter by obsession. I was born in Rota, Spain arriving in the U.S. a year later to grow up in 6 states and countless different houses. I joined the Navy in 2000; serving as a Photographer stationed in Yokosuka, Japan onboard an aircraft carrier until I left to pursue wackiness and shenanigans. After graduating from the New England School of Photography I made the switch from film to digital photography and discovered just how important physically working with materials is to my creative process. That’s when paper cutting became an integral part of my life. It is a technique that allows me to use my hands again. When coupled with my unique designs and creative materials the resulting pieces are a modern take on an ancient art form. I\'m currently wrecking havoc in Brooklyn, NY where I wield an xacto and eat hot dogs.
