Jessica Helen is a Melbourne based jeweller and metalsmith with a background in various forms of design. After working as a design assistant for an architectural firm she chose to combine practical skill and design by completing a series of jewellery short courses at NMIT. Jessica launched her jewellery label Jessica Helen in 2010; during this time Jessica also went on to study the Advanced Diploma of Jewellery at NMIT and exhibited jewellery and sculptures in the 2011 graduate exhibition Auteur. 2013 has brought some exciting developments to the forefront of Jessica Helen’s career including participating in a collaborative exhibition Organic Mechanic and participating in Lord Coconut’s two most recent exhibitions - Enhancement and Art of the Cuff. Jessica ‘s work is based upon fascination for geometry and structure; Jessica Helen\'s newest jewellery range \'Geometrica\' creates a sculptural representation of a life cycle exploring the themes of conception, maturity and decline through a series of patterns and layers. Jessica Helen\'s current choice of materials includes sterling silver, titanium, semi-precious gemstones and exotic timbers.
