Jig & Funk

Jiggy Tone and Funk Tous combine as the New England Hip-Hop duo ‘Jig & Funk.’ Jig and Funk, now both 25, grew up in the same small town of Keene, New Hampshire. They met one another in middle school, but did not connect musically until their junior year in high school when Funk Tous heard some of the music Jiggy had recorded with his friends. Jig and Funk happened to share a class, so the next day, Funk told Jiggy he loved what he was doing with music. Jig invited Funk to get together, write some rhymes, and see what they could create together. Ten years later, they have graduated from The University of New Hampshire together and have been living on the New Hampshire seacoast, writing and performing music. Jig and Funk have recorded two LPs together at Funk’s home studio, ‘Same Roots’ and ‘Easily Amused’ (Both available on all major streaming platforms). Since the release of ‘Easily Amused,’ the two have leveled up from their home studio to recording their first professional studio project at the Cybersound Recording Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. The duo have also started their own record company, ‘The Funk Factory,’ for the release of their upcoming LP, ‘TIDES.’ ‘Jig & Funk’ are available on all major streaming platforms and can be found on Instagram and Twitter as @JiggyTone and @FunkTous.
