Visual Art – Philadelphia

I was born in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. In the summer of 2003 I received a scholarship to Peters Valley Craft Center to study blacksmithing. I graduated from Raritan Valley Community College, NJ, in 2005 with an Associate of Fine Arts, focusing in Visual Arts, as well as an Associate in Arts, focusing in Studio Arts. In the summer of 2005 I became the apprentice to Tim Maslyn of Maslyn Studios in Somerville, NJ. I assisted in creating sculptures for public art for Princeton University and independent clients. Two years later I moved to Portland, Maine and attended Maine College of Art, where I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture with a minor in Drawing. I currently reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where I work primarily as a freelance multimedia artist, well also working on my own creative visions. The work I make varies from custom gowns, costumes, photography, sculpture, music videos and public art. Psyche\'s Lullaby is a project that I have been striving to finish so I can move on to my next big idea. One of my short films \'Procession at Dawn\' is a chapter in Psyche\'s Lullaby that started as a live performance art piece. It has received international attention, it was shown at the U.K. Scarlet Imprint Publishing Co. film festival in mid July 2012. It got a full page write up in \'The Visual Artbeat Magazine\'
