Joann C Chang

A native of the Bay Area, Joann received a B.A in Human Development and Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Education/Promotion. It was unplanned for her to land a professional career in the performing arts. However, she wouldn\'t trade in what she does with any other career. Joann is an all-around renaissance artist. Musician, Painter, and Dancer, you will find her in motion. Everything she creates whether through song, choreography, or filling up a canvas is for the purpose of bringing freedom and life to others. She is a music, dance, and art instructor as a profession. Not only is she a teacher of the field, she often performs at churches, weddings, parties, dance studios, conferences, etc. Her recent project is to refine her skills as a jazz singer and perform with a live band. An avid traveler, Joann has used the performing arts and business to reach people not just locally, but also, world-wide including Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Brazil, Hong Kong, Myanmar, and Cambodia. She delights in empowering others to find their own unique creative expressions and providing outlets in which they can find their unlimited potential. Her paintings have been displayed in a variety of locations including beauty/hair salons, churches, coffee shops, boutiques, and art galleries. It is through Faith that she is able to create beauty out of ashes.
