Jones Base

Although my name is Jones I am the Base of all my creations no matter the tools used in the creative process I remain the Base of that Creation. I am the Base of everything surrounding me in my life. Growing up in the city of Chicago I was heavily influenced by my environment, the wide range of graffiti Art and Architecture design made a major impact on my artistic expressions. ​ Self-educated myself in the beautiful world of artistic expression through museums and analysing some of my favorite artists such Basquiat, Picasso, Pollock, Mijares, King Saladeen, and Architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Always keeping an open eye for the next surface to collaborate with, characteristics of each surface selected brings forth a new creative perspectives of abstract art. ​ Challenging myself, experimenting with a wide variety of canvas concepts, wild color sequences and unique textures is what helps express and produce Jones Base Art.
