Jean-Patrick Roy

Born in Montréal, I have been involved with art as long as I remember. My mother is an artist as well and she thought me early how to use art as a way to channel emotions. While at the University of Manitoba, I took Drawing for non-majors, which allowed me to learn new tricks and explore different medias. Since 2009, I have owned a video magazine, prosper street productions. We cover all the underground scenes of Winnipeg and occasionally do multi-media art shows to showcase theses artists. By doing so, we try to shade some light on perhaps some negative taboos that may be perceived of these scenes and show all their positive aspects and different artists involved.
