Judith Cohen

I am on a “Beauty Quest” assigned to me by a traditional Native American Healer. I express the beauty I see around me through my art. I have experienced two different worlds: that of the Atikamekw, a people indigenous to the boreal forest whose ancestral lands span the Haute Mauricie and Lanaudière regions of Québec, and that of our modern contemporary world. Discover through my imagery a people and a culture spiritually connected to an ecosystem which is home to countless and diverse wildlife species. Join me in discovering the beauty of the forest as well as the beauty to be found in ones own backyard.
