KAIS

Kais Khoury, professionally known as KAIS, is a Canadian producer/ singer/ songwriter/ guitar player and recording artist, currently based in Vancouver, BC. Born and raised in Jordan, yet rooted in various places from a young age, he proudly considers himself a citizen of the world. KAIS is a one of a kind artist, blending an exquisite melange of Indie Folk, Rhythm and Blues (RnB) and Progressive Pop Rock to address a ubiquitous array of topics, from war and global warming to poetic complexities that mystically parallel the interwoven nature of the social world. Gradually making ripples in the music industry, he's performed a multitude of gigs in London in 2014, including the Mayor of London Big Busk. In spite of emerging obstacles, he recently graduated a nine-month diploma program out of Point Blank Music College, which also caters to electronic music and other far-reaching aspects of the music industry. He now prolongs the rewards of his entrepreneurial musicianship with a broader vocabulary and a hands-on approach, riding that momentum in a well-greased engine as he continues to perform throughout Vancouver City with a surefire nerve for turning things up a notch.
