Kate Habros

I'm from AZ, born and raised. My roots run deep in this desert. Growing up, I was surrounded by strong women with an appreciation for fine art, music, and all that good stuff. Real talk: I have no formal training, except for one fantastic oil painting class at the Phoenix Center of the Arts (hollah atcha Edna Dapo), but I'm constantly seeking to create and express and feel. I'm kind of all over the place. I graduated from ASU in 2014 with my Bachelor of Arts in Film, where I dabbled in sketch comedy writing, stand up, improv, and even a little clowning (that was an actual class at ASU). For the past 3 years I've also trained in circus and aerial arts, because why the hell not. Last year I passed my Level 1 Sommelier examination, and worked a harvest at a winery in Cali (you could call me a lush). Through all these beautiful, supportive communities I've literally stumbled into, I'm finding my passion lies in creating, anything, fueled by the joy of self-expression, and the pride that comes from the physical act of trying.
