Visual Art – Chicago

With an art teacher for a mother, my interest in art was fostered at a young age. I grew up creating – learning every medium I could get my hands on – drawing, painting, ceramics, weaving, sand castle building at my Michigan cottage, even graphic design for a brief time. However drawing and painting came most naturally to me and was the channel I found most expressive of the constant blur of ideas running through my mind. Though I decided to pursue Physical Therapy as my study of focus, I was always passionate about holding onto my love of art. Fortunately, when I graduated and no longer spent my free time studying, I still found myself inspired by travel, colors, movement and design.
