Kathy Kern

In creation, I am almost exclusively influenced by the aesthetics of art. I am not concerned with symbolism or meaning, but rather the beauty captured through the simultaneous manipulation of and guidance from the elements of art. I rarely begin with the end in mind and let my artistic instincts guide me. If a viewer finds deeper meaning in my work, that\'s fine- I\'m happy that my art can extract an array of interpretations from my audience. But for me, my works are pictorial memoirs of my art instincts in action.
