Visual Art – Miami

"I use the depths of the human condition to illustrate something beautiful." Imaginative Creativity A Miami born artist with Cuban heritage, she has been drawing and painting since before she can remember. She attended New World School of the Arts Highschool and then went off to graduate from College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Fine Arts/Illustration. As she's grown, the themes of the dark and creepy and the beautiful have captivated her. Using mostly graphite and acrylic paint, she illustrates a deep yet somber world on a range of medium. Tim Burton's own short, VINCENT was her first large inspiration in the love and wonder for the monochromatic and dreary. Though most of her beloved troupes are of the dark and are often a tab morbid, she attempts to connect the viewer with a world most have not seen before. Her other large inspiration lies in music, mostly the late, great David Bowie and Of Monsters and Men. Anything that can lift her and take her thoughts into another world is what fascinates her and fuels her drive to create and think of new meanings behind her imagery. From David 'Bowie' Jones himself, "I always had a repulsive need to be something more than human."
