KATSNAXXX

Kat Janis is a self-taught painter currently living in South Florida. Janis marks the start of her art career in 2013 when she began her process of recovery from drugs and alcohol. It was during this time that art became a vital means of self expression and communication for her. Janis' art continues to be an outlet for the things, 'better left unsaid". Janis has done a number of live art performances in Wynwood Miami and is recognized by the name, "KATSNAXXX". Janis likes to think of 'KATSNAXXX' as the side of her which plays into the innocent and yet mischievous promescuities of her imagination. She works mostly in oils and is currently working on a new Miami series for summer. Janis hopes to eventually move to California and continue to pursue her art professionally.
