Visual Art – Denver

My appreciation for art and culture are driven by experiences growing up overseas and traveling the world at a young age. This instilled in me, a deep curiosity of the human experience. When expressing my imagery, I look to nature, pre-history, ancient civilizations, to the modern times, and ideas of the future. I typically work with a combination of acrylics, watercolor, colored pencil, pen, and ink on paper to create abstract drawings. In 2016, after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art at Colorado Mesa University , I spent two years in Seattle, Washington before moving back to the Colorado area. The diversity and visuals of the cityscape nestled together with the nature of the Pacific North West has been a major influence within my recent work. I continue to pull ideas and symbols from that area, but I am now re-inspired by the high mountain deserts of Colorado.
