“My fourteen years of experience in product development was began with my education from the prestigious Rhode Island School Of Design. I have since collaborated with a number of retailers on product strategy. I’m particularly proud of our work in color, materials and market review collaborations. My expertise in handbag design has been recognized by both industry insiders and in the wider circle of editors, stylists, and buyers. I was decorated as a finalist at the Independent Handbag Design Awards 2014.
I founded the KC Malhan label in 2000 with my design vision, to offer customers beautifully crafted handbags and accessories with a fusion of modern and vintage styles. Each KC Malhan bag is handmade and features a stunning color palate and intricate patterning. I insist on quality down to the details in the beads, sequins and embroidery.
The design process draws upon age-old craftsmanship skills from my Indian homeland. As a brand with eco-friendly principles, KC Malhan uses natural, sustainable materials for many products. Every season brings a new collection with a renewed sense of vitality and fresh, on-trend styles.
