Keegan Karlsen

I am a young Calgarian who is trying to live out their dreams in becoming an artist. To me art is my way of interpreting life and its states and boundaries, laying it all out on the canvas for me and others to see. I see so much beauty in life, but also its compliments, and in order for me to grasp what we call life and the experience of it, I need art. I love the human body, something about it just fascinates me and tells a story, not only of that individual, but as a species collectively. In my work I try and demonstrate my curiosity and depths of thinking I push myself into. I have so many questions to my state of reality, to who i am, who are we, why are we here? And i think there is a beautiful and passionate story behind those. And that is what inspires me. I hope you enjoy my artwork. Much appreciated.
