Visual Art – Kansas City

Born and raised on a farm north of Towanda, Kansas. I spent my days in the open country observing nature and exploring my imagination. Coming from an artistic family, I always had an interest in creating. In middle school my creativity was directed and stimulated through different artistic opportunities, medias, and tools. But it wasn\'t until high school that I discovered my talent to transfer my ideas onto surfaces. The independence I found at Butler Community College along with my growing passion to create led me to formulate my own style and serious drive for painting and exploration of other media. I decided to major in art at University of Kansas to explore my own art and how it directly related to other artists\' work. In 2012 I left University of Kansas on the decision to test my ability to balance every day life and continuing to create art. Since then I have traveled out of the country a few times to discover more about the world. Seeing Europe twice along with five countries in South America. Traveling has helped express/directed my creative drive towards my artwork. As of the current moment in my life, I will continue exploring art until I can no longer create.
