Visual Art – Montréal

I am an art student at Concordia University. I started making pottery in September 2017. I create handmade pottery that are functional and/or decorative. The shapes of my work has a traditional approach, but the surface is treated in a modern way. I am currently at a very experimental stage which is why all my work are individual unique pieces. I tend to approach the glazes and the colours of my work in a abstract way and I use childlike methods that allows me to be free in my work and enjoy it. I always say that when I work with clay, it’s a teamwork because the clay has a personality of its own.
