Kishme

Whenever I'm asked, "how long have you been designing?", the answer is always,"my whole life'. From a very young age I fell in love with drawing and art. Growing up in the Virgin Islands, I had a neighbor that was a seamstress. Most days, while the other kids were outside playing, I'd go over to her house to watch her sewing custom garments, sketch fashion illustrations, and create Carnival costumes all by hand. I also spent a great deal of my childhood fabric shopping with my mother, who often made outfits for my family. I was always surrounded by fashion in some way and I still am. I later went on to graduate from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design and currently design custom pieces. Every Kishme design is 100% handmade from start to finish by me. The Kishme woman is just the right amount of sexy, sophisticated, and elegant with an edge.
