Hi! I'm Brittany Russo, owner and artist of Kiya Marie Designs, Genuine Sea Glass Jewelry. I have a million different directions in my life; I own a business (of course), I go to school, I work two jobs, and at 23 years old, I couldn't be happier! I'm a retired division 1 soccer player and I have my bachelor's in Exercise Physiology. I'm back in school for Physical Therapist Assistant. I started my jewelry business almost four years ago and have been faced with challenges and amazing opportunities. I'm very independent and love to teach myself, so when I started making jewelry, I researched all the possibilities. I started out with terrible wire wrapping, advanced to drilling sea glass, and then taught myself how to solder. I'm a self-taught metalsmith, and I will be teaching myself to weld in the next couple of months, as I just bought a pulse arc welder. This will open up the doors for possibilities in my jewelry so that I can take it to the next level.
